Crates Packaging
- Match crate walls, base runners, blocking, fasteners, and internal restraint to the contents and weight.
- Keep contents immobilized and separated from crate walls with blocking, foam, or suspension as needed.
- Provide forklift entry, lifting points, orientation marks, and closures that remain secure in transit.
Crates Stackability
- Use the crate engineer or manufacturer stack rating rather than assuming every crate is stackable.
- Reinforce the top and vertical posts when approved top loading is required.
- Treat wide, tall, damaged, or lightly framed crates as non-stackable.

- Protect the contents from shock, vibration, moisture, puncture, and loose internal movement.
- Inspect base runners, fasteners, panels, braces, and forklift pockets before tender.
